| Welcome to the Citrus Robotics Website! The purpose of Citrus Robotics is to bring the excitement, challenges, and educational opportunities of robotic combat to Citrus County. There are currently NO EVENTS scheduled for 2005We're sorry for any confusion, due to lack of competitors, we are not holding a event in conjunction with this years tractor pull.
We would like to thank our Arena Sponsors  AND  For their generous Contribution for the construction of our arena. Because of their contribution, we are able to upgrade from 3mm Lexan to 3/16" Lexan. This upgrade will make our event even safer, and allow more aggressive weapons. We have been asked several times if a team may enter more then one robot. Yes, however, the same restrictions on frequency conflicts apply, and in the event that 2 robots from the same team are scheduled to fight, that team will need to have a 2nd driver available. Full registration fees apply to each robot. We are allowing the multiply robot entries because of low turnouts, and may decide at a later date to disallow multiple entries from single teams. Registration is FREE, However each person attending the event will be required to pay the gate fee ($10) to get in (The gate proceeds go to the Citrus County Fair Association, who are generously providing the insurance, and building for the event.) We will be handling the event differently this year. There will be no judges, no time limits. 2 Robots will enter the Arena, The "Last Ant Standing" will be declared the fight winner.
